Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PayRecord (the “App”) provided by Parveen Kumar (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of the service

PayRecord is a simple tool to help you record and review income and expense entries on your device. Features may change between versions. The App is provided for personal or internal business record-keeping convenience, not as a substitute for professional advice.

Accounts and data storage

The App does not require you to create an account or log in for core tracking features described on this website. Your entries are stored locally on your device unless a future release clearly describes different storage and you choose to use that feature.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for any backup or export you wish to keep. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, loss, theft, uninstallation, or clearing app data.

Advertising

The App may display third-party advertisements served through Google AdMob (and, where applicable, Google’s advertising partners). Ads may be contextual or personalized depending on your device, region, and settings.

Ads disclaimer: We do not control the content of every ad shown. Advertisements are provided by independent advertisers and networks. A link or offer shown in an ad does not mean we endorse that product, service, or company. Interact with ads at your own discretion and review the advertiser’s terms before making a purchase or sharing information.

You agree not to misuse advertising features—for example by generating fraudulent clicks or impressions or by interfering with measurement in ways that violate applicable laws or the policies of Google or your app store.

Third-party services

The App and this website may rely on third-party services—including but not limited to Google Play, Google AdMob, and infrastructure used for update checks or hosting. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of the App is also subject to the rules of the app store from which you downloaded it.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical protections except where prohibited law allows;
• Overload or disrupt our systems or third-party services connected to the App.

No professional advice

The App helps you organize records; it does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for financial and compliance decisions. Consult a qualified professional when needed.

Intellectual property

The App, its name, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App as offered through authorized app stores. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted by law.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Parveen Kumar, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP—EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY), OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50), EXCEPT WHERE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW SUCH A CAP.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Parveen Kumar and its affiliates against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, except where prohibited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature where reasonably necessary—for example for security, legal compliance, or end-of-life maintenance—subject to applicable app store rules.

Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner that violates applicable law, we will take steps to delete it where required.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or app store listing where appropriate. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App, except where an app store imposes additional mandatory terms on distribution.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable based on your place of residence and the distribution territory of the App, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require applying another jurisdiction’s laws—except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country require otherwise.
